2011-09-23: The feed now supports JSON and Atom formats. Just switch the HTTP Accept header accordingly. Also, the feeds support the HTTP header Accept-Encoding set to deflate, gzip, and x-gzip. The feeds should also be able to handle a bit more traffic than before.

2011-09-19: Currently working on updating the feed, including providing longer history as well as a feed in JSON format. Stay tuned.

This site provides euro reference rates as Atom and JSON feeds. The data is collected from the European Central Bank and updated every weekday.

The entry point can be found here: http://referencerates.eu/feed. In order to select JSON or Atom, the HTTP Accept header must be set to either application/json or application/atom+xml respectively.

The entry point contains the latest reference rates and URIs to further details about every currency. The details contain historic information from the last five weekdays.

Feel free to use the data however you want, but understand that this web site may not be relied upon for heavy traffic. This is because it runs on a simple web hosting service.
